The bands original members came together in the spring of 2011 in response to a Kijiji ad asking "Who wants to jam?". Initially, rehearsals were held in a comfortable, but smallish shed at the home of founding member Wade. Early on, the band played mostly acoustic style songs to the beat of a drum machine.  The addition of Rob Campbell on drums helped the boys evolve into a more rock focussed band. Simply Random as the band was originally known began to perform at parties and festivals for small crowds of appreciative fans. As time passed, the band continued to develop its identity, and changes inevitably included personnel. The first of these changes saw Brian, and Bronston leave the band followed eventually by Wade. At this time, Rob switched to guitar, and Terry was invited to play drums for Post Office Wall as the band was now called. After a bit of a search, Mike Bailey joined the band on bass guitar. The band stayed with this lineup for quite some time, performing

gigs around Durham Region, and as far away as Barrie and Belleville.  In the fall of 2016, both Rob and Mike had circumstances arise that forced them to leave the band.  After the shock wore off, the remaining band members agreed to carry on. POW has been very fortunate to secure the services of Nebe and Kevin, to capably fill the voids left by our departed friends.  We thank Rob, Mike and all previous members for their contributions and enthusiasm that helped make the whole thing fun and rewarding.

Post Office Wall (POW) covers songs by Tragically Hip, Blue Rodeo, Tom Petty, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rolling Stones, and many others.  If you haven't already, check out the music page for recordings of some of the bands favourites. Our newest members Nebe and Kevin bring some formidable skills to the band.  As of now Jan 2017 we have no recordings with these guys, but trust us they can play.  Watch for gig  announcements here and on our FB page, and come out and give us a listen!

The band appreciates the support given by some dear friends:
